This position provides administrative support to all departments within Soligie relating to sales and marketingfunctions. Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work. Significant focus will be directedtoward preparing and maintaining company presentations, developing Word and Power Point Templates, coordinating logistics for conferences and tradeshows, organizing customer visits, and managing contacts and sales leads. The Administrative Assistant must maintain a professional company image through in-person, e-mail and phone communication.
Assist the Vice President of Sales & Marketing as needed with administrative tasks and projects
Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: expense reports, photocopying, faxing, mailing, shipping and filing
Create, modify and edit documents including presentations and customer correspondence as directed
Create and maintain PowerPoint and Word Templates
Create a system for maintaining customer contacts in Outlook. Keep contact data up-to-date, enter contacts from trade shows into the system, and ensure one complete contact list exists for sales & marketing purposes
Coordinate logistics for trade shows and conferences including: travel, accommodations, shipping, marketing materials, advertisements, booth space, order supplies and services as needed for trade shows including power, carpet, cleaning, etc.
Assist in coordinating travel
Setup and coordinate meetings
Setup for customer visits including preparing meeting space and refreshments
Running errands as needed
Support staff in assigned project based work
Serve as back up to Office Manager in shipping and purchasing
Serve as the Receptionist at the front desk when required
Ability to organize work tasks and complete projects in a timely manner
Ability to work independently to complete tasks
Strong command of the English language with the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working in a technology focused organization

Perform technical tasks based on written or verbal instructions. Fabricate and assemble electrical and electronic prototypes according to work instructions and electrical principles. Build, calibrate, maintain, use and repair electrical instruments, test equipment and testing devices. Operate test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assemblies or systems under simulated operating conditions and record results. Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define and solve product development problems.
Must use a variety of microelectronic, electronic, mechanical or eletromechanical equipment. Ability to read schematics, perform entry level troubleshooting, calibration or modification of hardware and perform task prioritization. Specify, build and use test fixtures. Must communicate clearly and interact with others on routine technical matters. Ability to read and interpret documents, solve practical problems and work in an environment where limited standardization exists. Function as a team member developing and achieving common goals.
Must be a US citizen.
Two year technical degree with emphasis on electronics. Associates degree in electronics preferred.
Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to use standard software such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong command of the English language with the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
Working knowledge of electronics and simple circuits (Resistive, R-C, R-L, microcontrollers)
Ability to assemble circuits using traditional surface mount approaches as well as novel approaches for flexible electronics.
Ability to use basic functions on oscilloscope, LCR meter, DMM.
Ability to comprehend schematics and realize circuits from schematics.
Ability to logically troubleshoot and maintain electrical test systems.
Working knowledge of common hand and power tools.
Ability to operate complex fabrication equipment such as automated and semi-automated printing equipment.
Ability to use precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, microscopes, etc.)
Ability to logically set up, troubleshoot and maintain complex equipment.
Ability to construct test apparatus.
Keep test samples, test requests, reports and raw data organized and filed.
Ability to plan a logical workflow in order to complete a test (procure resources, check systems, prepare samples, perform test, capture data, and write report)
Ability to provide a realistic timeline for task completion based on rational assessment of workload, resource availability, and project urgency.
Support the Soligie Quality System through appropriate documentation.
Perform tests and provide test data and reports
Perform tests correctly: ability to follow written procedures.
Perform tests safely: ability to follow basic safety procedures.
Accurately record and/or compile raw data from test.
Transpose raw data into meaningful test report.
Analyze test data for data integrity.
Communicate test results to Engineer
Communicate potential problems with test or test setup to Engineer in a timely, meaningful manner.
Fabricate prototype electrical circuits based on work instructions.
Fabricate novel flexible electronics components and circuits per Soligie designs.
Keep lab clean, adequately stocked, and in working order at all times. Proactively manage consumable stock items of the lab.
Proactively manage test equipment in the lab.
Maintain required calibration for test equipment
The candidate selected for this position will be expected to carry out a wide variety of activities within the context of printed and flexible electronics. These may include the design of electrical circuits and devices, development of processes for the fabrication of circuits on flexible substrates using printing methods, electrical and mechanical testing of components and circuits and support of the transition to volume manufacturing. The individual must have a demonstrated capability for managing programs and working with team members to define and meet requirements. Use of a broad array of technical skills in electronics, materials, physics, and process development are required to lead multiple projects and collaborate with customers on product concept development and realization. Acting independently under general direction, you will define project objectives and scope, use project planning and management techniques to achieve milestones on time and within budget, determine requirements for achieving robust manufacturing processes, define specifications, and document best known methods.
Must be a US citizen.
BS degree in science or engineering and 5 years experience working in a manufacturing setting.

Experience with functional printing, printed electronics or flexible circuits a plus.

Ability to assemble circuits using traditional surface mount approaches as well as novel approaches for flexible electronics.

Familiarity with the mechanical properties of materials used for printed and flexible electronics.
Ability to operate complex fabrication equipment such as automated and semi-automated printing equipment.

Ability to logically set up, troubleshoot and maintain complex equipment.
Ability to design and construct test apparatus.
